Doing a fix up our houses has lots of ramifications. It's great for future for resale, it's important
for the mood as clutter and dated furniture/appliances has a depressing effect and it's a creative outlet for design and one's individual identity.
Here's a tip to help improve your home before you sell it. It doesn't have to cost a lot of money but can have a very nice aesthetical effect. Being conscious of things like the appearance of your entry way, adding a little bit of nice wood molding or some mirrors etc can make a big difference:
Of all the impacts that your home can have on your buyer, cigarette smoke is the very last one you’d want. This doesn’t just mean the smell – which, as we discussed in tip #15, is quite offensive to potential buyers – but the look of ash trays (even clean ones) and smoke stains on walls, cupboards, and otherwise.
This is also true for burn holes in carpeting and upholstery. Sure, you’re not selling your furniture, but the furniture that is there will leave an overall impression, so make certain that they don’t show signs of smoker’s damage.
For the majority of buyers, they won’t even want to tour a home if it is currently owned by a smoker. With that in mind, make sure to get rid of any “evidence” of your habit.

Also to clean your home with a non-toxic, no dangerous ingredients product plus
save some money we recommend the Miracle II line of Products. They are concentrated
and you just need 2 teaspoons in a spray container you can get at a drugstore or walmarts
to clean your house.
Non Toxic Cleaner without Dangerous Ingredients. Great for helping allergies and removing mold too!
