Here's a tip to help improve your home before you sell it. It doesn't have to cost a lot of money but can have a very nice aesthetical effect. Being conscious of things like the appearance of your entry way, adding a little bit of nice wood molding or some mirrors etc can make a big difference:
It’s easy to take the squeak out of your floorboards, by locating the offending spots, and squirting some powdered graphite lubricant into the seams between them. Step on the boards to work the powder into the joint. Repeat when needed.
